Native New Yorker Deborah J. McDuffie is credited with being the first female composer/producer in the advertising industry. She has composed for and produced Patti Labelle, Luther Vandross, Roberta Flack, Gladys Knight & the Pips, Al Green, Janet Jackson, Tito Puente, Jose Feliciano, Temptations, Ashford & Simpson, Four Tops, Will Smith, B.B. King and more!

APOLLO AMATEUR NIGHT

Deb McDuffie was hired by the Apollo Theatre to re-energize the legendary Apollo Amateur Night in the early 90's. She totally revamped the weekly Wednesday night show and functioned as producer and performer.
RITZ AMATEUR NIGHT 
She brought this wealth of experience to Ritz Theatre & LaVilla Museum in 1999, creating and producing Jacksonville's hit "Amateur Night at the Ritz".
RITZ VOICES
In 2000 McDUffie founded the popular all-city youth choir, Ritz Voices, serving as Artistic Director for seven years.
